The Mediterranean group on our roster brings together Italian, Greek, Spanish, and Portuguese therapists. The shared training register is warmer and more physically expressive than the Northern European or Slavic lineages — closer body language, more intuitive pacing, and a genuine interpersonal warmth that runs through the whole session rather than sitting at its edges. Several of our most consistently requested practitioners come from this group, and clients who ask for it specifically are usually looking for that cultural warmth as much as for the technical skill behind it. Each therapist has been interviewed in person and certified for her techniques, so the warmth never comes at the expense of competence.
Sessions in this group are warmer in manner and more physically expressive, and they tend to favour the sensual register over the strictly classical — though deep-tissue and relaxation work are equally available if that is what you want. The Mediterranean approach reads the body intuitively and adjusts pressure and pace as the session unfolds, rather than working to a fixed routine. Most clients book from this group for the warmth of the encounter; the technical depth is a given. All therapists speak fluent English, and many speak two or three additional languages — Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Greek among them. Note your language and technique preference when you book.
